The people to ask if the person who asked you to attend. And yes, they will certainly register you as attending (or not)

Yes you have to show willing to do everything possible to get a job which includes a good cv so attending the workshop is one of the things expected of you to receive your JSA. They will know whether or not you have attended.

yes its mandatory and they dont tick your name off - YOU have to sign in/out (to make sure its YOU that attends.)
