I made this one up. A grand developed state of man was Ancient Greece Where Socrates' philosophy made animals more civil And beauty made from stone with hammer and a chisel, Are still renowned, and to this day the world still owest, Like in eternal lines to time they growest In this there's: perfect rhyme metaphors, in animals that mean uncivilized men and beauty meaning sculptures simile, in "like in eternal lines" allusion, in the last two lines to Shakespeare's 18th poem, meter, in the use of iambs
