Well skipping breakfast and lunch actually can sabotage your weight loss. When your body does not eat at regular intervals it goes into starvation mode and takes every spare calorie it gets and turns it into fat. What you want to do is eat good but low fat foods. For instant have a half cup plain oatmeal and an orange or apple for breakfast. Thats only about 150 calories and just walking around you will burn that off before lunch.

First of all, Subway is NOT what you would call a healthy place to eat. There are more than 37,000 Subway restaurants worldwide -- this means that the companies that run Subway has to provide to all of these restaurants everyday, which is not an easy task. Their meats, their vegetables, their breads; they are processed heavily with chemicals, preservatives, artificial flavoring, and artificial coloring. On top of that, a study showed that the average consumer got 955 calories from their meal at Subway versus 1,038 calories at McDonald's -- considered an insignificant difference [source 1]. Here what I would consider your guidelines for losing weight and feeling healthier. -Cut out ALL juices, sodas, pop drinks, and milkshakes. They have an unbelievable amount of sugar in them which can equate to fattening. -Drink water frequently, but you do not have to fill up on it. There is such a thing as too much water. -Eat six SMALL meals a day... in the morning, have toast with a light spread of jam and an egg (scrambled or over-easy or however you like it); before lunch, have a cereal bar with an apple; at lunch, have a sandwich with wheat bread and cut back on the mayo (load up on the vegetables); mid-afternoon, eat some meat or more vegetables (think carrots or celery); dinner time, have a light salad with a bit of steak or a small amount of what your mom makes; before bed, you can eat a fruit. -If you eat meat, you will not gain weight from meat. Meat has no fat other than the fatty part that comes with it. You can choose to eat that or not (I recommend not because it can affect your bloodstream; clotting). -If you chose to eat fruit, eat it in a small amount. Fruit has sugar, and sugar can be fattening. -Vegetables are good. -Wheat bread, Ezekial bread (look it up or try finding it in your grocery store), and oat bread is good for you. White bread is made with sugar, can be fattening. -Work out -- in my personal opinion, one of the greatest weight loss methods is to work out your muscles and entire body by hitting the gym. See if you can get a gym membership. Working out your muscles give your body a "burn" that lasts more than 18 hours, which can help shed extra weight. -Run. Running is a great weight loss advocate. You do not have to be a pro or run even a mile. Just start a little and build your way up. I would recommend you to try get up to 3 miles, especially if you do not have any asthma or breathing problems.
